Hey there, I am you average Kiwi Male who likes machinery and many other bright shiny objects. In response to questions on many Agricultural Forums on the net, this site evolved. Originally I started building sites at geocities to post information so I did not have to re-type it in forums etc. This also gave people the luxury of being able to find this information in the search engines, without having to go to the forums at all. It makes the information able to be found again if required. Before Puddingsworld I had 5 sites at Geocities that I can recall, and they are all still there! With only 5mb allocated to each site, I only had 25mb to store information. I soon out grew Geocities and had to find a good host. Now I use www.fatcow.com and 4 years later, this site now has over 500mb of information, and brochures of older, more unusual tractors and farming machines.
This website grows with input from viewers, people send me brochures, pictures of there machines, my personal collection of brochures is actually very small. This site has grown from input from people in France, Hungary, England, Australia, Croatia, Italy, Belgium, Canada, New Zealand, Germany and many others. Many of the brochures on my site are not even in English!
About me:
I am a Graduate of Lincoln University, Majoring in Farm Management. Since Graduation I have worked in America, Driven a Sweetcorn harvester in Gisborne, built and serviced Valley Centre Pivot Irrigators for Water Control Solutions, now I own and operated a small company that owns a franchise selling hydraulic hose and components. I grew up on a farm, and have been involved in agriculture my whole life, which is not that long considering I am only 27! I have worked in many jobs throughout New Zealand while at university, and believe the experience has been worth while.
